DAIFUUUUUUUKUUUUUUU mochi mochi mochi

Oooooh, this looks so good. I hate living in a town where there are no Asian markets, and the nearest one is over 2 hours away, over the mountains and through the woods. I'm having daifuku withdrawl.

Commitment.

Well, that's the plan, isn't it? I've made a public statement that I'm committed to going to Japan in 12-18 months. That means having to make WAY more money than I have in years (are my days as a starving artist numbered?) and promoting the dickens out of my business. It can work. I've seen it happen. No, really, I can do this.

As proof, a friend has already introduced for me to a friend of hers who lives in Japan. Ah, the magic of the internet! Now, if I can get back into my language studies and brush up on my kana, there is hope.

So here is the goal, my friends (are any of you out there?): I need to generate the cash to fund a trip to Japan for 2 weeks (or so) to make connections, buy lots of fabric, and make the whole thing worth all the trouble. AND have a good time in the process. Oh yeah, and still make enough to pay my bills at the same time. That is a LOT of cash. And it can happen.

Any ideas?
