Cats in Kimono?

Kawaii! I found these online today and think they are pretty darn cute. Click to view Moussarts' blog and Cafepress store. As a big fan of the film Serenity and the series Firefly, I think I'll go for this piece (it says Serenity in kanji), but I really do think the cats are fabulous.

Blogorama again

Try This At Home blogged me today. Yay! I've been promising buyers that I'd have the new smaller purse design out soon, and with the amount of publicity I'm getting these days it looks like I need to come good on it. Okay, that's my July goal. By July 15 I will have the new purse in production.

Oh arg.

SALE SALE SALE and other stuff

It's summer. It's hot here in the northern hemisphere. And I still have scarves. Lots of really pretty ones. Regularly $85, they are $45 each until the end of July when I start making new ones for fall. So click on through to the casual scarves page and take your pick!

And now for the other stuff... blogorama! Kudos to No Good For Me for plugging my sale items, including the prototype totes I made ages ago and then shoved in a box and forgot about until recently. *hangs head in shame*

I've got oodles of yummy yukata cottons in the ebay store today. Check them out at the Kimono Momo Outlet.

Also in the outlet are half pound bundles of silk scraps from a local (to me) designer. Her finished stuff is gorgeous, and she has worked out a deal with me to sell off her remnants. These are hand painted and dyed silk fabrics that are available nowhere else outside of her studio. I've been a fan of her work for years so it is quite and experience for me to be surrounded by so much of her art. I sit in the middle of my floor and sort the colors... yowza. Too much fun. Here's a sample:

3 beautiful things

Here's my 3BT for the week so far:

I've had so much progress with the ebay store, it's amazing. Lots of fabric going to lots of places. Some familiar old customers, many new ones too. Erin, the ebay staffer helping me with this has given such good advice and it's working.

After taking time off the main Kimono Momo site, I'm getting back on track. New bag designs will be up for fall. In the meantime I'm working on press releases for magazines. If you have suggestions, let me know.

The mysterious lump in my lymph node is due to allergies, not anything sinister. I feel so much better knowing this.
