My marketing man and bf have both been ganging up on me to make ties. I will admit to wearing ties in high school--willingly, mind you, in an attempt to stick out of the crowd of preppy Californians in the 1980's--but I don't honestly know much about them. So far I've disassembled one and marked out a pattern, but now I'm trying to pick out silks to use to make one. Trickier than it sounds, to be honest.

And in doing all of this, I forgot to take my son to his medical appointment half an hour ago. Sheesh. (*head slap*)
