Happy Turkey Day

Mmmmmmm... pie. Gotta love it.

There are so many new things I'm working on for the Crave show, it's amazing. The new scarves are gorgeous, I've got a bunch of new bags (including some tiny totes), and it seems like every night I get another new idea. Between 10 pm and 2 am I'm busy in my studio, trying to keep my eyes open and focused so I can finish my latest new idea. Lucky me it's a school holiday week and I can sleep in til 9 am or I wouldn't be able to function.

It's trying very hard to snow outside, little flurries and sunshine, all at once. My daughter is quite excited by this, as she has been waiting for snow a long time now. I'm not as excited because, unlike her, I have to drive in it, and that's a pain in the ass.

I talked to my dad on the phone today and he was sounding pretty good, which makes me happy. Talking to my mother always makes me happy, but dad isn't really the chatty type, so I don't have the opportunity to talk to him very much. This was a treat.
